This video shows you how to grow sprouts at home with a simple set up. There are a variety of different seeds that you can grow and eat as sprouts including: alfalfa, radish, mustard, broccoli, red clover, fenugreek ...

Sprouts provide a continual supply of fresh greens and do not need an elaborate set up. What you'll need is:

1L glass jar, 1 square synthetic piece of mesh, 1 elastic band,1 Tbsp of seeds for sporting, and water to rinse the sprouts twice daily.

It takes about 5 days until the sprouts are ready to eat. Once they are ready they are great additions to salads, to sandwiches, or to wraps. The spouts can be stored in the fridge for about 3 days.
To have a continual supply of fresh greens, start a new batch every 2 days. Each time you can start different seeds giving you a diversity of flavours.

Enjoy the sprouting!
